Excellent piano for beginners
I bought the Yamaha P-145 for my child who is just starting piano lessons. The weighted keys feel very close to an acoustic piano, which really helps with finger strength and technique. The sound quality is great for the price, and it’s compact enough to fit in our apartment.

Good value and sound quality
The P-145 offers a nice balance between portability and performance. The sound is crisp and the keys have a satisfying touch. I wish it had more advanced features like recording, but for practicing and small gigs it works perfectly.

Great for practice and travel
I take my Yamaha P-145 to lessons and it’s easy to transport due to its lightweight design. The speaker volume is sufficient for small rooms, and the variety of voices is a nice bonus. Could use a better user interface, though.

Solid digital piano with authentic feel
The weighted action is very realistic and the piano sounds are rich. It’s a reliable instrument for daily practice. The lack of a display can make changing settings a bit cumbersome, but it's a minor issue overall.
